Targeted Protein Degradation

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Contributing to the ongoing projects in the lab
• General laboratory organization (e.g. overseeing day-to-day operations, maintaining lab supplies)
• Testing and establishing reagents (e.g. molecular cloning, cell culture, generation of genome-edited stable mammalian cell lines)
• Recombinant protein expression and purification (i.e. bacteria and insect cells)
• Teamwork (supporting and training lab members)
• Active involvement in our team (e.g. attending group meetings, journal clubs, exchanging ideas)

 

Desired skills and qualities:

• Basic knowledge in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology
• Hands-on experience in basic molecular and cell biology methods
• Motivation to learn and establish new methods and assays
• Fluency in English and strong communication and social skills

 

Application

This is a full-time position, which is open from November 1, 2024. However, we are open to applicants who want to work part-time. An initial contract will be for a year with the possibility of extension for multiple years. The salary will be based on the FWF salary scale.
